Ust-Luga Container Terminal will grow the largest one in Russia and the Baltic region. NCC started construction works at the site of ULCT in April, 2007. The opening stage of the first phase is due to be completed in December, 2008 and will provide for throughput capacity of 150-180,000 TEU per annum. The total capacity of the first phase will amount to 500K TEU.
By 2019 total terminal capacity will reach 3M TEU. This is the largest terminal project in the countries of the Former Soviet Union that has total investment of $800M.
