Bank Electronika Opens Retail Office in Kaluga
OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2007. Ceremonies were held mark the opening of Bank Electronika’s retail office in Kaluga. Higher officials from the city of Kaluga together with leading managers from Bank Electronika took part in the event; representatives from the press attended as well. The new office of Bank Electronika is located at Ulitsa Kirova 23A, Kaluga.
With the opening of this first regional retail office, Bank Electronika begins the realization of its new retail strategy. The Bank’s plan calls for opening approximately 150 retail banking offices in cities of 200,000 or more residents by the end of 2010. Activities in this area are directed toward specific target populations and take account of the social role Bank Electronika plays in the regions where it chooses to work.
The social mission of Bank Electronika’s retail strategy is to render accessible, quality banking services to residents with average income (3,000 to 12,000 rubles per month per person in the family). All products in the retail business have been designed for this target group. The Bank has developed unique terms for deposits and credit – in particular, minimum sums for deposit – beginning at ten rubles and cash credit – from 5,000 rubles to 80,000 rubles with limited documents and prompt decisions on extension. Bank Electronika intends to become a “family” lending institution, understandable and accessible for all its clients, which explains why Bank Electronika has chosen the motto Responsible Helpmate. Providing support to the general public, the Bank resolves common social issues and contributes to the realization of the cities’ social and economic programs.
The retail, or personal services, offices will offer its clients the most convenient services. The offices will be open until 8 p.m. and work on Saturdays, allowing people who are busy to select the most suitable hours to do their banking.
The retail office of Bank Electronika in Kaluga began servicing clients on November 26, 2007. To meet its promise of convenience and accessibility, the Bank has prepared an entirely new model for organizing services; it created and original design for the facility and a new proprietary style. The Kaluga personal services office, like all retail offices of the Bank, will have a children’s play corner.
The Bank will offer its clients a line of deposits and the opportunity, in time, to obtain cash credit. It will develop credit calculation for depositors. A present awaits each depositor – a free Visa Instant banking card; for those who open deposit accounts by January 31, 2008 – a New Year’s souvenir!
Within the framework of its philanthropic project, Bank Electronika presented the Kaluga Specialized Socio-Rehabilitation Center for Minors, Nadezhda, two new automobiles.
