OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2007. At its meeting, the Executive Board of UTair (UTair Aviation, JSC) considered the budget commission’s proposals regarding the draft business plan for 2008, the company's press service reported.

The airline’s Executive Board approved an operations program for 112 airliners and 149 helicopters of various types and classes. UTair’s aircraft and helicopters will spend 240,000 hours in the air in 2008. Some 4 mln passengers are expected to be carried, and nineteen new air routes will be introduced.

Helicopter operations will be held in Russia and eleven other countries. In 2008, UTair projects to boost its operating revenue to RUR31.1 bln (approx. USD1.26 bln), up 42 percent from 2007.
