OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2007. To enhance the social protection of its employees, Pavlogradugol OJSC has established a Social Development Division.

According to the head of the new division, Oleg Portretny, its activity is aimed at the planning and implemention of the social programmes of the company, creating conditions to contribute to the retention of young specialists and strengthen partnership with cities, towns and districts of Western Donbass, in particular with Pavlograd, Ternovka, Pershotravensk, Pavlogradsky and Petropavlovskiy districts for their social and economic development.

One of the units of the new division is going to systematize and reform real property assets and construction already in progress. Furthermore, the Social Development Division will manage a branch of the company – ‘Sotsugol’ that comprises social assets.

Pavlogradugol OJSC (Dnepropetrovsk Region) is the largest coal mining company in the country, which includes 10 mines and other structural units. According to last year’s results, its coal output totaled 15.2 % of total Ukrainian production.

Pavlogradugol OJSC is a part of Donbass-Fuel Energy Company (DTEK).
