OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2007. The authors Carri Ginter, partner at Sorainen, a leading pan-Baltic law firm, and Kaarli H Eichhorn, lawyer at a world’s leading law firm Clifford Chance, presented a book about competition law, reported the press-centre of Sorainen.

According to Carri Ginter, EU and Estonian competition law have been in the focus of interest in the last few years. “There have been speculations about different agreements on the fuel retail market and the fight against cartel. The European Commission has imposed of over 3 billion EUR fines on several companies”.

The book covers the basics of free competition in Estonia and the EU and contains a selection of adjudications of the European Court and decisions of the European Commission, describing competition law practice. The book is of assistance as a manual both to experts and students.
