OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2007. The third-class overhaul on the blast-furnace-3 at “Tulachermet” public corporation is over two days ahead of schedule. As it was planned, the loading device and two sections of the casing were changed during five and a half days of repairs on the blast-furnace-3. Moreover, guards of weighting agglomerate funnels were changed and metalware of weighting chark funnels were repaired at the load area of blast-furnace. "ISK" contractors mounted two new coke-screening grates and two repaired ones in the workshop for the repair of metallurgical factory equipment.

Worm sections of the blast-furnace-3 mother conveyors were restored. Repair mechanics of the blast-furnace department and of the machinery overhaul department inspected the equipment of the air heater furnace. At the present time blast-furnace-3 is put to working parameters.
