Belorussian Steel Works Increases Steel Production on 5,3%
OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2007. Byelorussian Steel Works increased in January-November of a current year steel production on 5,3% to 2mln. 82,7 thousand of tons in comparison with the same period of 2006, reported the press-centre of BMZ.
During 11 months BMZ produced 1,7 mln. tons of rolled products, that is on 9% more than in January-November of the last year. It is produced 261,1 thousand of tons of steel cord production – it is on 19,2% more.
It is included steel cord, bead wire, hose wire and other types of wire. During mentioned period BMZ increased a production of commodity output on 8,1% in comparison with January-November of 2006. In total a plant produced in comparable prices on Br 2 billion 474 milliard. The increase of export is 33, 9% and is 1 billion 134 mln. of USD dollars.
