“Chain of IT Clinics” Launches On-Line Order Monitoring
OREANDA-NEWS. December 20, 2007. “Chain of IT Clinics”, an all-Russia network of IT equipment warranty and post-warranty service centers (http://www.merlion.ru/eng/press-center/news/news-886/), has introduced an information system of real-time order management. It makes an additional factor of convenience for manufacturers and provides optimizations of resources for franchisee partners, reported the press-centre of MERLION.
The system of managing service orders through a single web-portal is developed for registration and support of repair operations. This system is to systematize, simplify and accelerate the work of branches for servicing equipment.
Previously, reporting to manufacturers on fulfillment of warranty repair involved filling in a large number of documents, their format determined by each manufacturer's standards. The process took a considerable time, which reduced the overall efficiency of service centers.
Owing to the new system, employees of the network branches have an access to a single base of spare parts, with shipments from the base performed automatically upon repair registration. The system generates all the required statistical notes and reports in appropriate formats, calculates the cost of work and the branch’s profit. Besides, it displays financial and commodity balances in real time, informs of amendments and additions to the package of authorizations, types of products, kinds of works and prices thereof.
The system allows synchronization of manufacturers’ databases with the single database of the “Network of computer clinics”. It will enable manufacturers to get the relevant reports and information profiles online, as well as to do research and optimize logistics of spare parts.
Throughout November, the online system of managing service orders operated in the trial mode. Since December, all the network branches have had an access to the online system.
This module is planned to be further expanded into a comprehensive CRM-ERP system.
“Chain of IT clinics” is developing fast. 11 new network branches will have opened in the cities of Bryansk, Vologda, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Kursk, Magnitogorsk, Novy Urengoi, Petrozavodsk, Tambov, Tyumen and Yaroslavl by the end of 2007.
Today, the “Chain of IT Clinics” provides warranty repair and post-warranty servicing for products of the following manufacturers: DELL, HP, IPPON, iRU, Jetbalance, Powercom.
All the network branches offer services on diagnostics, software installation, preventive maintenance, setup and repair of any computer equipment.
