OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2007. In November 2007 level of average wages increased up to 2 thou. 482 UAH at Azovstal, reported the press-centre of Azovstal.

Since January 2007 average wages at Works increased by 346 UAH (16,2%). In November their level exceeds average wages of Azovstal employees in October this year by 2,6% and makes 2 thou. 482 UAH. This is the highest indicator for the whole Works history. In October 2007 average wages at Works were 2 thou. 419 UAH.

“Now more then ever work collective support is important for labour productivity growth ensuring. We need it not for good reporting but for only one objective – stable increase of real wages ensuring because it is directly connected with labour productivity growth, says Dmitry Livshits, Director General of Azovstal Iron & Steel Works. It is essential that growth will be supported by appropriate growth of performance indicator for securing of long-term trend of wages growth”.
