OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2007. JSC IDGC of the Center successfully passed certification audit for reception of the degree of conformity with the second level of technological maturity in the field of project management (IPMA), the company's press service reported. The company received a high estimation of the Russian and international project management associations.

IDGC of the Center was presented with the Certificate of conformity to the second level of organization technological maturity according to the requirements of the companies. certification system in the field of project management established by SOVNET Project Management Association according to the rules and methods of IPMA - International Project Management Association. The company was also awarded the Honorary Diploma "For Active Promotion of Project Management in the Industry Sector".

The certificate was presented to Evgeny Makarov, General Director of JSC IDGC of the Center by Vladimir Voropayev, President of SOVNET Project Management Association - Chairman of the Management Board of SOVNET, and by Sergey Bushuev, Leading Auditor, a member of the certification and validation branch of IPMA.

During the audit the following areas of design management were checked up: management by changes, personnel, quality, communications, contracts,  subject domain, cost, time and risks.

At the moment JSC IDGC of the Center introduces root matrix that is project process management system. Only this year the portfolio of more than 50 projects has been realized in the most varied directions. And today IDGC-1 is the only Russian company which successfully proved its conformity with the international standard and passed certification within the limits of ISO 9001:2000 under the specialized standard ISO 10006 Quality Management, and also the conformity with the 2nd level of the model of organizational and technological maturity of the companies in the field of Project Management.

For the further development of project management in JSC IDGC of the Center, the program of introduction of Project Office in DGC was worked out. Within its framework the organizational structure of the Project Office will be formed in subordinated DGC, as well as typical forms of documents will be approved in conformity with the Standard for Project Management of JSC IDGC of the Center, the rules of interaction of design offices of DGC and IDGC will be developed, etc.

The nearest plans of the company is certification for the third level of  technological maturity in the field of project management (IPMA) in 2008, and also participation in XXII World Congress of IPMA as an industry sector representative of SOVNET Russian Project Management Association.
