OREANDA-NEWS. On December 21, 2007 Ukio bankas payment cards offer “Look for a Christmas Present in Your Account!” has ended, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

The offer’s grand prix, as much as LTL 10,000, went to Ukio bankas Maestro cardholder Jolanta Galiniene from Kaunas. The Bank presented each of another 25 lucky ones with additional prizes of the offer – LTL 1,000.

“When I learned about my winning I couldn’t believe this and, in fact, even now it is difficult for me to believe my luck. This is the first time in my life when I have won such an impressive amount and now I really understanding the meaning of “Christmas is a time of miracles” phrase,” Mrs. Galiniene, employed with Kaunas Drama Theatre, said.

In the words of the offer winner, she will use part of the prize for the repair of her apartment and will spend the remaining part for holiday needs. “I am happy that holidays bring miracles,” Ukio bankas client said.

All holders of Ukio bankas MasterCard Standard, MasterCard Football, MasterCard Gold and Ukio banko lizingas MasterCard and Maestro cards, having paid by these cards for goods and services from 6 November until 16 December 2007 were eligible for the offer. The amount of all card purchases during the offer term had to be not smaller than LTL 500.

The total prize fund of the offer “Look for a Christmas Present in Your Account!” amounted to LTL 35,000 and the winners received this money directly to their payment card accounts.

“We presented such an offer to the payment card holders for the second year in row and this is aimed at showing our gratitude to our devoted clients for their loyalty,” Jurate Kajackiene, director of Ukio bankas Payment Cards Department, said. In her words, the major part of the Christmas offer’s prizes went to Maestro cardholders and not a few prizes reached regions, which testifies that payments with payment cards are popular not only in the major cities.

Presently, Ukio bankas holds a Christmas deposit campaign during which private clients, having placed a time, a savings or a universal deposit have the chance to win monetary prizes. Those who place the deposit in the amount not smaller than LTL 5,000 for a one-year or longer period have the chance to win LTL 500. Every week until 20 January 2008 the Bank will select 5 winners to whom the money will be transferred to Ukio bankas payment cards.
