OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2007. Traditional All-Russian Judo-tournament in memory of the honored trainer of the USSR Anatoly Hmelyov and the colonel of militia Nikolay Anohin has passed in the Center for Olympic preparation "Avangard", reported the press-centre of Group of Companies "Titan".

The tournament has collected more than 140 sportsmen from 11 regions of Russia - Samara, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Sverdlovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Saha, Khakassia and Altai, and also from Kazakhstan and Mongolia. Among participants there were numerous winners in championships of Russia, winners and prizewinners in the All-Russian and international tournaments, including 36 masters of sports and 1 master of sports of the international class.

Participants of tournament competed in seven weight categories (60, 66, 73, 81, 90, 100 and above 100 kg), and also in command superiority "a wall on a wall".

In the personal set-off, three citizens of Omsk have received medals - in a weight category of 66 kg gold was won by Krestjaninov Victor, a silver medal in a weight category of 90 kg Omsk sportsman Dmitry Buzynnikov has got, and in a category over 100 kg the bronze award Dmitry Shupin has awarded. Guests of tournament have got the rest of prize-winning places.
In command competitions "a wall on a wall" citizens of Omsk became champions. On a way to the final stage Omsk judoists have at first won a team from Novosibirsk, and then have broken resistance of the teams from Krasnoyarsk and Angarsk.
