OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2007. JSC Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant (Chelyabinsk region, part of ESTAR management company) produced 571,388 t of steel in January-November of 2007; this is a 5.3% increase on the year-on-year basis, according to the press-release of the management company.

403,164 t of roll (a 4.7% growth on the year-on-year basis) were produced over this period.

The average monthly steel production exceeds 51,000 t and roll production – 36,000 t.

The plant smelted 52,780 t of steel and produced 36,672 t of roll in November.

JSC Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant was created in December, 2003 on the basis of the assets of the JSC Zlatoust Metallurgical Complex in the framework of business restructuring. The enterprise produces over 1,000 steel grades and alloys for the military-industrial complex, chemical and aviation industry.
