OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2007. JSC Nytva (part of ESTAR Group) is running a sports competition among the staff of the plant.

The competition is held from 05.11.2007 to 12.07.2008 in several kinds of sport: quick chess, weight lifting, swimming, volleyball, table tennis, ski races, basketball, cross-country race and mini-football. All the interested members of the plant’s staff with a medical permit can participate in the competitions. The objective of this event is to improve the health and reduce the illness rate of the plant's workers, introduce sport and physical culture in the daily life of the workers of Nytva Metallurgical Plant. In general all the participants improved their results against last year.

It’s not the first time that this sports competition is held at the plant and this time, as in the previous years, the workers of all departments of JSC Nytva willingly participate in the competitions. A participant or a team is awarded a diploma and money prizes for a victory in each kind of sport.
