OREANDA-NEWS. On December 19, 2007 the ALROSA Supervisory Board held its regular meeting in Moscow under the chairmanship of RF Finance Minister and Chairman of the ALROSA Supervisory Board Alexey Kudrin, reported the press-centre of ALROSA.

The Supervisory Board discussed and approved main targets for ALROSA Co. Ltd. and also consolidated targets for ALROSA and OJSC ALROSA-Nyurba for 2008:

Consolidated rough diamond production (including production by OJSC ALROSA-Nyurba) -
USD 2289,3 million

Rough diamond production by ALROSA Co. Ltd. - USD 1764,1 million

Diamond sales by ALROSA Group, total - USD 2920,9 million

including:   
- sales by ALROSA Co. Ltd., total - USD 2265,7 million
- rough diamonds - USD 2112,0 million
- polished diamonds - USD 153,7 million
- sales by OJSC ALROSA-Nyurba, rough diamonds - USD  655,2 million

Revenues of ALROSA Co. Ltd. from sales of products (works and services) - RUR 69641,8 million

Profit of ALROSA Co. Ltd. from sales of products (works and services)- RUR 20304,2 million

Net profit of ALROSA Co. Ltd. - RUR 10146,5 million

Capital expenditure - RUR 18259,4 million

Exploration expenditure - RUR 3492,5 million

R&D expenditure - RUR 403,4 million

It was specially noted that the approved targets of both companies are subject to review based on the actual performance in Q1 2008.

The following changes in the membership of the ALROSA Executive Board were authorized: Vice-President Dmitry K. Novikov was discharged of his mandate in connection with the oncoming termination of his employment with ALROSA, as well as the former Director of the Aikhal Mining Division Semyon Ponomaryov because of the termination of his contract with ALROSA. For the reasons of termination of operations by the Anabar Mining Division and repositioning, V.T.Kurnev, director of the Anabar Mining Division, was also discharged of his responsibilities as member of the Executive Board. It was also resolved that the recently appointed Director of the Aikhal Mining Division R. Sh. Sanatulov will join the Executive Committee as its new member.
