OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2007. Rietumu Bank offers its customers new payment cards VISA/ MasterCard Light, reported the press-centre of Rietumu Bank.

VISA/MasterCard Light – has the same features as a usual credit card but can be obtained more easily. Any bank customer may order such card. To get such credit card there is no need to provide neither any security deposit, nor income statement. VISA/MasterCard Light can be ordered either with or without credit limit.

Enjoy all the benefits of a usual credit card with your VISA/MasterCard Light – use it for online shopping, book tickets, make hotel reservations, pay for goods and services, get access to your funds at ATMs and banks worldwide.

Unlike with other credit cards, each time you make payments with Light cards happens validity check to make sure there are enough funds for the transaction. Due to this it is impossible to exceed your card balance or go over credit limit.

Light cards can be obtained both by private individuals and legal entities, such cards can be also used as salary cards.

Card currency – LVL, USD or EUR. Card annual fee is lower than usual credit card fee and accounts for 20 LVL/30 EUR/40 USD.  For Light cards ordered before February 12, 2008 apply a discount of 50% on annual card fee for the first year.
