ROSNO Supports Festival for Disabled Children
OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2007. Among the festival’s participants were children aged 7 to 14. During the event, various articles and achievements of disabled children were exhibited. Master classes were held in such nominations as sports, art, technique, and popular crafts, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.
During the festival, possible methods of rehabilitation and adaptation of disabled children were demonstrated, and efficient types of child aid were further developed. 26 districts of the Samara Region took part in this festival, which was established by the Family and Demographic Development Department.
"This event will help children to uncover their creative potential, integrate them in our society and ensure that they have equal access to education services", noted Mr. Alexander Mamonov, head of ROSNO’s Middle Volga Directorate.
