OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2007. Experts from JSC IDGC of the Center have taken part in II International Conference called Project Management 2007, the press service of IDGC reported. The international conference became one the significant events in the field of project management on the territory of Russia and CIS in 2007.

Composition of the conference was represented by the largest design companies-customers ready to share with the audience their successful experience in realization of large projects, as well as by professional players of the project management market. The representatives of SOVNET Russian Project Management Association, UES FGC, RF-Federal Guard Service, VTB 24, TNK-ВР, HydroOGC spoke at the conference.

A wide scope of the themes of the design management sphere, the most actual ones for modern business, was offered. Participants of Project Management 2007 International Conference discussed the newest tendencies and program development in the field of management by projects in Russia and abroad, experience in management by projects in some industries; they discussed issues of outsourcing of separate projects, programs, portfolios of projects.

Within the limits of the conference, discussion was held in various forms - reports, open interactive discussions, case studies, and informal conversations. Representatives of JSC IDGC of the Center exchanged their experience, discussed tendencies and prospects of development of existing methods and approaches to project management.

"For today JSC IDGC of the Center is one of few companies of the power branch, which introduces root matrix that is project design management system," Dmitry Alyoshin, Director for organizational development of JSC IDGC of the Center, said. "Therefore experience of other companies successfully realizing the design approach in management is very important for us. That is why participation in international conferences of such a level is very useful. But it is also very important for us to demonstrate our developments in the field of design management. Today the Company has the Management Council for the strategy and transformations. This year under its supervision the portfolio of more than 50 projects was realized including the scale program "Reforming of JSC IDGC of the Center", which includes 12 projects. During reforming, transition to the uniform operational company, the system of design management becomes very actual and in great demand as it allows to solve global strategic problems using the minimum resources."
