OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2007. Information-Analytical Center of Kursk NPP is 5 years old. Today, on Dec 18, the Information-Analytical Center (IAC) of Kursk Nuclear Power Plant is marking its 5th birthday. In the last five years the IAC has become not only one of the key departments of Kurks NPP but also the cultural center of the city of nuclear power engineers, Kurchatov. It is the venue of regular meetings of Russian and foreign experts, conferences, symposiums, meetings, contests, concerts, games and other socially-significant events.

The key line of activity of the IAC is to inform the population about the safe and efficiency work of Kursk NPP, to shape the positive image of the plant and the nuclear power industry, as a whole, to encourage objective media coverage of the events taking place in the nuclear power industry, to organize excursions and other public events.
