OREANDA-NEWS. On December 12, 2007 the biggest shareholder of the JSC Latvijas Krвjbanka, the Lithuanian Snoras Bank, has granted the flyLAL Group company Aviation Assets Management a 7 year loan for 68,1 million lits (13,9 million lats) for the purchase of three airplanes, reported the press-centre of JSC Latvijas Krвjbanka.

The first airplane "Boeing 737-500" purchased with the loan funds has already been delivered to Lithuania. The Aviation Assets Management company will rent the new aircraft to the group's airline company FlyLAL-Lithuanian Airlines.

The two remaining airplanes will be delivered to Lithuania early next year. During the first nine months of 2007 the FlyLAL-Lithuanian Airlines, which owns four airplanes, worked with a 6,8 million lit (1,38 million lats) loss, which is 2.4 times less than during the same time period from January until September last year.

The flyLAL Group holds 100% of the FlyLAL-Lithuanian Airlines shares. The owners of the flyLAL Group are three private Lithuanian companies - Fima (30% share), ЮIA Valda (45%) and Sanitex (25%).

The Lithuanian Snoras Bank holds 75.9% of the JSC Latvijas Krвjbanka shares.
