Alliance Group Oil Major Expects Output to Grow to 4,5mn Tons by 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2007. As announced by group’s president Musa Bazhaev, Russia’s oil major Alliance Group expects its oil output to increase to 4,5mn tons by 2011 from current 0,5mn tons.
Alliance Group currently owns Tatnefteotdacha, oil producing company based in republic of Tatarstan, but is planning to acquire another company by the end of this year. Group’s goal is to supply Khabarovsk oil refinery with its own oil, while currently it purchases oil from Surgtneftegas, TNK-BP and Gazprom.
Also, group reached a preliminary agreement to connect its refinery with East Siberia – Pacific Ocean oil pipeline currently under construction, Bazhaev said.
