OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2007. On December 14, 2007, products of Uralkali (Berezniki, Perm Territory) were auctioned on the Saint-Petersburg Universal Trade Stock Exchange "Umex", Uralkali's press service reported.

The results of the auction have proved again there is a stable demand for the products of the company. 10000 tons of Pink MOP were sold for 3830 rubles per ton, which included the entire volume of the Uralkali consignment released for the auction. During the previous auction on November 29, 2007 the Uralkali products were sold for 3790 rubles per ton.

The auction has become the ninth auction for Uralkali in 2007. Since the beginning of the auctions in 2007, Uralkali has sold altogether 54500 tons of potash fertilizers for a total price of more than 200 million rubles on the Moscow Stock Exchange (MSE) and the Universal Trade Stock Exchange "Umex".
