Raiffeisenbank Launches New Mobile Service
OREANDA-NEWS. On December 11, 2007 ZAO Raiffeisenbank offered its clients new mobile banking options. Now, in addition to receiving SMS notification of card account transactions, clients can also make SMS enquiries, reported the press-centre of ZAO Raiffeisenbank.
In response to your mobile enquiry to 7243, the bank will send you the latest information on your card balance and recent transactions, as well as the contact phone numbers of Raiffeisenbank's client support service. SMS enquiries can also be used to obtain information on the latest changes in exchange rates or prices for mutual funds managed by Raiffeisen Capital. If you lose your card, you can freeze your account with an SMS enquiry.
Raiffeisen MOBILE service will be automatically available to all clients who began using the bank's SMS notification service by November 26, 2007. Once the service has been added, you will receive a "greetings!" text by SMS.
Roman Vorobiev, a member of Raiffeisenbank's management board and the head of its retail services division, stressed the importance of these new services for the bank’s clients: "We expect to see our clients make active use of SMS services in the very near future. SMS is a highly convenient, inexpensive way to monitor the movements of your funds and stay on top of important developments. The service is particularly useful when you travel abroad, as you do not have to resort to expensive international communications to obtain information from the bank. It is much easier and cheaper to send a mobile enquiry and receive a note confirming that your enquiry has been processed".
SMS enquiries are payable at the rates set by your mobile provider for outgoing SMS messages.
