OREANDA-NEWS. On December 10, 2007 the International Bank of Azerbaijan is once more recognized the “Bank of Year” among Azeri banks by The Banker magazine (London), IBA press-service informs, reported the press-centre of IBA.

The awarding ceremony was held on November 26, 2007 in London. During the ceremony the IBA was represented by Vagif Akbarov, Deputy Chairman of Board.

As IBA informed, The Banker for already seven consecutive times (since year 2000) recognizes the International Bank of Azerbaijan “The Bank of Year” from among the country’s banks.

IBA is the largest bank in country. Its charter capital is 100 mln. manats. IBA assets as of July 1, 2007 were equal to 2,19 bln. manats, the volume of credit portfolio was – 1,39 bln. manats, deposits- 1,4 bln. manats.
