OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2007. In January-November 2007, the port of Iljichevsk port handled 14.3 million tonnes (+6%, year-on-year), the port’s press center reports. In the reported period, transshipment of general cargo grew by 12% to 7.9 million tonnes, ro-ro cargo – grew 3-fold to 106,000 units. Transshipment of containers grew by 64% to almost 470,000 TEU. Transshipment of liquid bulk cargo totaled 1.6 million tonnes (+18%, year-on-year), dry bulk – 4.9 million tonnes (-5%, year-on-year).
