OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2007. The objective of the visit was just to see how Leningrad NPP works but, of course, the experts could not help showing professional interest in the plant’s fire safety system.

The guests visited the control board, central and machine compartments and inspected the plant’s fire safety control systems of the plant.
Fire safety is a very serious sphere. That’s why it was especially interesting for LNPP specialists to learn the opinion of experts especially as the latter were at an NPP for the first time. Their opinion was quite positive: “I think that everything is organized perfectly and your fire safety systems are very efficient. We are no longer concerned but are sure that nothing bad can happen here,” the head of the territorial division of State Fire Safety Inspection of Lomonosov district of Leningrad region V.Visloguzov said.
The head of the territorial division of Kirisha district of Leningrad NPP was of the same opinion: “Everything is clean and well-organized. Your safety systems and, particularly, fire safety systems are impressive. What we have seen causes no concern.”
