OREANDA-NEWS. December 12, 2007. On the eve of Sevmash birthday (plant began its activity on the 21st of December 1939), large group of enterprise workers are presented with high ministry awards, the enterprise's press service reported.

Decree is signed by Minister of Industry and Power engineering Victor Khristenko. Noticing great personal contribution in industry development, long conscientious work and due to solemn date from the day of enterprise establishment five shipbuilders are awarded with "Honorable shipbuilder", 24 persons are awarded with diplomas. 22 Sevmash workers received gratitude from the Ministry of Industry and Power Engineering.

Traditionally, on the eve of the Sevmash's birthday, the best workers, veterans, dynasties are congratulated. Solemn holidays begin on the 12th of December and finish by great solemn evening in Sevmash Palace of Culture on the 21st of December.
