OREANDA-NEWS. December 12, 2007. The 9th international specialized exhibition WOODEX’2007, organized by MVK International Exhibition Company, completed its work on December 7 in Moscow. The official closing ceremony and awarding of the winners of the 3rd review competition "Leader of Woodworking’2007" took place on the same day.

The floor was given to the representatives of foreign delegations and leading woodworking associations of Russia. Dennis Bizelt, the Chief Specialist of VDMA German Woodworking Equipment Manufacturers Association, on behalf of all German manufacturers emphasized high professionalism of the organizers which allowed them attract even more visitors than last year.

Vincent Chram, representative of SYMAP Woodworking Machines and Tooling Group, on behalf of all French delegations said that the first feedbacks from French colleagues were very optimistic and the established contacts are really important and effective. He also added that this first positive experience will make French enterprises participate in the exhibition in future as well.

All the Associations were awarded with honorary diplomas for their contribution in WOODEX’2007. At the end of the ceremony all the winners and participants of the review competition were awarded in the nominations: the best booth designs, best exposition and price-quality ratio.
