Kazakhstan PM Meets EBRD Delegation
OREANDA-NEWS. On December 07, 2007 at the Government House, Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov met EBRD delegation headed by President Jean Lemierre, reported the Official website http://en.government.kz.
The sides discussed prospects of cooperation between Kazakhstan and EBRD in implementation of infrastructure projects, development of S&MBs and processing of agricultural produce.
Head of the Kazakh Government briefed Jean Lemierre on the administrative reforms aimed at enhancement of the public administration efficiency and upgrade of public services quality.
Jean Lemierre noted that the sides “had been developing cooperation in energy and electric power industry; and that they share a common stance on S&MBs development, as well as on corporate sector development and economy diversification”.
EBRD President went on to brief Karim Massimov on the status of talks with Kazakhstan-based partners on implementation of infrastructure and energy projects.
Both sides expressed confidence in further successful cooperation and agreed to hold another meeting in the nearest future.
