MTT Announces Non-Audit Consolidated Data
OREANDA-NEWS. On December 07, 2007 Multiregional TransitTelecom ("MTT") an international and domestic long-distance telecommunications operator in Russia, announced non-audit consolidated data of its' activity within nine months of the year 2007, prepared according to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), reported the press-centre of Sistema.
Based on performance results of nine months of the year 2007 MTT's service revenue was USD758 mln, which 2,5 more against that of the previous year. Herewith the revenue generated by WaveCrest, МТТ British operator, was USD196 mln.
Operational income before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) was USD 97 mln.
Consolidated revenue of end-user segment was USD178 mln, herewith the revenue of the Russian end-user market was USD141 mln.
Voice traffic volume transmitted by the MTT network (while call rounding up to one second), regardless traffic, processing by WaveCrest, was 7 bln minutes, which 3 bln minutes more against that of last year.
Number of MTT's subscribers in Russia has increased by 7 mln end-users by the end of the third quarter of the year. Moreover, the number of subscribers who have used "hot choice" service has exceeded 6,27 mln. More than 720 thousand subscribers have chosen MTT as a constant domestic long-distance and international communication operator.
"We expect МТТ to exceed the targets of 2007, and believe that according to the results of the year the company will capture more than 8% end-user market in money terms. This figure doesn't include data on MTT transit business; market share of this segment is to exceed 30%. That is to say by the end of 2007 MTT will justify its position as the second leading international and domestic long-distance operator in Russia" - says Mr. Konstsntin Soloduhin, MTT General Director.
