OREANDA-NEWS. On December 07-08, 2007 Yuri V. Trushin Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank visited Mongolia and participated in the Mongolian-Russian Business Forum as a member of the delegation headed by the minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexei V. Gordeev, reported the press-centre of Russian Agricultural Bank.

Agribusiness is one of the main lines of cooperation between Mongolia and Russian Federation: Mongolian meat is exported to Russia, while Russian grain and agricultural machinery is exported to Mongolia. Therefore RAB’s role in the sphere of Russian-Mongolian commodities turnover servicing is growing.

In December 2006 Agreement on Cooperation was signed between Russian Agricultural Bank and Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Mongolia. Russian Agricultural Bank plans to open representative office.
