OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2007. ING Wholesale Banking Russia announced the appointment of Katerina Sapozhnikova as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mrs Sapozhnikova will join the Management Board of the Bank.

I am happy, that Katerina has accepted our offer and decided to rejoin ING. This appointment fully corresponds with our plans for developing business in Russia", - stated Alexander Pisaruk, General Director, ING Wholesale Banking Russia.

Between 2005 and 2007 Katerina Sapozhnikova served as CFO, Management Committee member and member of the BoD at National Bank Trust and Trust Investment Bank. She was responsible for strategic planning, contacts with rating agencies, investment community, setting up the budget and expense control system, IAS reporting, and control over accounting function.

Before that in 1997-2005, during 8 years Katerina worked at ING Wholesale Banking, including 7 years in CFO capacity. In 2000-2005 she was also responsible for Eurasian cluster including Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Katerina has joined ING Wholesale Banking in 1997 as Head of Internal Audit department.
