OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2007. Board of directors of Ilim Group has endorsed Ken Munson for the position of Deputy General Director of the company and Managing Director for Ilim Group's forest resources, the company's press service reported.

Mr. Munson's responsibility will involve managing the company’ logging operations, as well as wood supply to the Group's woodworking mills in North-Western and Siberian regions.

"We expect Ken Munson to bring positive achievements to the company in the nearest future," commented Paul Herbert, General Director of Ilim Group, on the appointment.

Mr Munson started his professional career as biologist at Bureau of Land Management (USA) in 1974. In 1984, he joined International Paper as a research forester. During his service at the company he occupied various positions related to his professional sphere. Before his appointment as Managing Director at Ilim Group, Mr Munson worked as general manager of forestry operations and technology of International Paper Forest Division.
