OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2007. The erection of the largest commission object of Republic of Belarus’ – the PGU-240 steam and gas power plant with Minsk TPP-3 entered into the final phase. At the content of this plant, the TF-80 air-cooled turbogenerator of NPO “ELSIB” OJSC production, the gas turbine plant of “Alstom” company, and also, the steam cogeneration turbine of JSC “Ural Turbine Plant” production, our strategical partner, are included.

October 23-25, with “ELSIB”, the acceptance tests of Minsk ТF-80 at the presence of the representatives of RUP “Minskenergo” and the general designer – “BelNIPIEnergoprom” have passed. The generator was highly appreciated by the customers. In December, the shipment of the generator to Minsk will be finished. And at the first half of 2008, the erection of the plant and its commission are planned to finish.

The generators of 80 MW capacity are highly demanded at the market as they are used both at the realization of the new projects and at the reconstruction and modernization of the existing power units of 60 MW capacity to increase their capacity. At present time, the talks on a signing of the supply agreements for two or three ТF -80-2У3 turbogenerators more are being conducted.
