OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2007. Balakovo NPP has been proclaimed the winner of the 3rd All-Russian Competition “Leader of Ecological Activities in Russia,” organized by the organizing committee of the All-Russian Ecological Conference “New Priorities of the National Ecological Policy in the Reactor Economy Sector” with the support of the Federation Council, the State Duma, ministries, departments and ecological NGOs.

Deputy Director General of Rosenergoatom Concern-Director of Balakovo NPP V.Ignatov has been awarded order “Ecological Shield of Russia,” chief inspector of Balakovo NPP A.Petrov – medal “For Worthy Labor” and head of ecological department of Balakovo NPP S.Ryazanov – medal “For Contribution to Ecological Safety.”
