OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2007. Zarubezhneft is taking part in a meeting of the Committee of the Federal Council on Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and the Commission of the Federal Council on Natural Monopolies in Hanty-Mansiysk, the company's press service reported.

In accordance with the program of main events of the Federal Council for autumn session of 2007, the Committee of the Federal Council on Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and the Commission of the Federal Council on Natural Monopolies is holding the meeting in Hanty-Mansiysk on December 8-10, 2007: “Legislative measures to enhance oil recovery and restore mineral resources”.

On December 9, the meeting participants will visit fields to examine production activities of oil and gas prospecting and producing companies.

Zarubezhneft will be represented by Adviser to the General Director Arkady A. Bokserman. At the plenary meeting scheduled for December 10 A.A., Bokserman will make the report: “Program concept to prevent decline in oil recovery”. Besides, general directors of oil companies, representatives of scientific research institutes, the Federal Council, the Government and the Duma of Ugra are slated to speak at the meeting.
