OREANDA-NEWS. On December 06, 2007 the President of the Republic of Belarus signed Decree No 625 which specifies some matters related to lotteries in Belarus, reported the Official website http://president.gov.by.

The document expands the list of organisations eligible to sell lottery tickets. Under the Decree, consumer cooperation organisations have been added on the list, as they operate the biggest retail trade network in rural areas.

The Decree specifies the rules and procedures of creating databases (prior to the regular drawing of the lottery) containing information on the lottery stakes as received via electronic lotteries, taking into account the rules and procedures of the respective lotteries.
