At a meeting on December 3, 2007, the Board of Directors of OJSC Territorial Generating Company No. 5 (TGC-5) elected CJSC Integrated Energy Systems President Mikhail Yurievich Slobodin Chairman of the generating company's Board of Directors, the press service of IES-Holding reported.

Mr Slobodin noted that the target of the IES development strategy is to shape a major vertically integrated corporation comprising the following key areas: generation and retail. TGC-5 is one of the main platforms for shaping the Generation business unit. The powers of Vladimir Albertovich Lebedev who previously chaired the company's Board of Directors were terminated in the light of his appointment Director General of OJSC Southern Generating Company (TGC-8).
