Rosenergoatom Creates Favorable Conditions for Workers
OREANDA-NEWS. December 7, 2007. Two-day Rosenergoatom conference on social-labor and personnel management problems took place at Kalinin NPP Dec 6–7.
Representatives of the Central Office of Rosenergoatom Concern and the labor protection and personnel management departments and trade unions REA nuclear power plants took part in the conference. The meeting was chaired by Rosenergoatom Director for Personnel Management and Social and Administrative Issues Jumberi Tkebuchava.
Social policy has always been one of the key priorities of Rosenergoatom Concern and is essential for an NPP’s safety.
The conferees discussed the problems of application of professional standards, training of specialists for the nuclear power industry, optimization of the work schedules of shift personnel, remuneration and non-governmental pension insurance policies, youth and housing problems.
Tkebuchava said that presently all social programs are carried out according to the schedule. All REA NPPs work stably. Today, Rosenergoatom does its best to create favorable conditions for normal work.
“The establishment of Rosatom state corporation imposes even more responsibility on us as the federal target program for the development of the nuclear industry of Russia in 2007–2015 must be implemented exactly the way it is supposed to. This is the key directive of our head, Sergey Kiriyenko, and we will do our best to make the work of our personnel much better,” Tkebuchava said.
After the meeting the conferees attended the opening of Rosenergoatom mini-football and tennis tournaments in Udolmia and visited the construction of Kalinin NPP’s sanatorium on the shore of Lake Rogozno.
