OREANDA-NEWS. December 6, 2007. Sea Port of St. Petersburg (Morport Spb OJSC) has acquired a 100-percent stock of Maritime Pilots of Tuapse LLC (Krasnodar region). According to official materials of Morport, the deal was signed on December 4, 2007. The parties has not revealed the value of the transaction.

Sea Port of St. Petersburg is the largest Group of stevedoring companies in the port of St. Petersburg. It was registered in August 1995. In 2006, the Group handled 11.8 million tonnes of cargo. The Group’s share in cargo turnover of the Big Port is 22%. In 2006, net profit of Sea Port of St. Petersburg under Russian Accounting Standard totaled RUR 26.020 million, the proceeds amounted to RUR 771.8 million. Maritime Pilots of Tuapse LLC specializes in providing of extra services for water transport.
