OREANDA-NEWS. December 6, 2007. For 10 months of 2007, JSC IDGC of the Center repaired 5 015.1 km of 35-110 kV overhead lines and 13 735.9 km of 0.4-10 kV networks using a complex method, the company's press service reported. During this period, 285 substations of 35-110 kV, 4897 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV, and power transformers for the total capacity of 185.8 MVA were repaired by the company. A special article of the repair program is clearing of glades for overhead lines. During preparation and passage of the autumn and winter period, when the probability of emergencies due to branches falling on wires owing to the strong wind or snowfall increases, special attention is paid to clearing of glades. For 10 months of 2007, 10000.7 hectares were cleared, including 4747.4 ha of glades of overhead lines of 35-110 kV and 5253.3 ha of glades for networks of 6-10 kV. 
                                                         
The total expenses for the major overhaul in DGC of the zone of configuration of JSC IDGC of the Center for 10 months of 2007 amounted to 962.2 rubles, including repair of 35-110 kV transmission lines equaled 120.7 million rubles, repair of 35-110 kV substations equaled 171.7 million rubles, repair of 0.4-20 kV electric systems amounted to 414.7 million rubles, clearing of glades for OL 6-110 kV amounted to111.6 million rubles.
