OREANDA-NEWS. December 6, 2007. RF Federation councilor from Moscow government Oleg Tolkachev visited FSUE "PO "Sevmash" on the 30th of November 2007, the company's press office reported. O. Tolkachev visited enterprise workshops, met with collective. Then with Sevmash Director General N. Kalistratov took part in solemn ceremony, devoted to opening new operating block in children's hospital.

It is not the first visit of Oleg Tolkachev. In November, there was 11 years of cooperation between Sevmash and Moscow government. O. Tolkachev together with Moscow mayor Y. Luzhkov stood at the head of it. On the 2nd of November 1996 FSUE “PO "Sevmash" and Moscow government conclude a Contract about patronage of building nuclear missile submarine "Yuri Dolgoruki". Thanks to it during crisis 90-ies years enterprise and town received enormous social support.

Every year Moscow government gives Sevmash significant means which are first of all used to help children. Modern medicine equipment and medicines are bought for children’s hospital. From 2001 to 2005 more than 83 mln rubles were used for it. Children’s hospital was named the best institution within children’s public health of Russia. Many up-to-date technologies are implemented in the hospital. Besides these means are used for development Severodvinsk schools and kindergartens, for outfitting enterprise health-improving institutions. Every year shipbuilders children spend their holidays in Moscow, and pupils of Moscow military schools visit Sevmash. In 2006, a submarine museum was opened in Moscow. It was reequipped on Sevmash by Moscow government order. Reequipment was headed by O. Tolkachev.

Today, during meeting with enterprise collective Oleg Tolkachev promised that close cooperation between Sevmash and Moscow government will continue. "Moscow has always supported and will support Sevmash and Severodvinsk. You are going to build new ships and we are sure that enterprise will be developed. We’ll render assistance from our side," noticed O. Tolkachev.
