OREANDA-NEWS. On December 05, 2007 the EU Economic and Financial Affairs Council stopped anti-dumping investigation against Ukraine in its supply of silicomanganese to Europe, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

In mid November European Commission offered to stop the investigation.

The European Commission drew to the conclusion that in case of Ukraine, despite the dumping, the average level of damage to European producers is lower than the minimal.

The investigation started on September 6, 2006 during which European Commission representatives paid audit visits to all three Ukrainian producer-plants: Nikopol, Stakhanovsky and Zaporizhzhia.
