OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2007. Due to the 90-year anniversary of the Russian police (MVD), the head of Kursk branch of ROSNO-МS Mr. Igor V. Kolomiets was awarded by the medal of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs "200 years to MVD" with the wording "For personal contribution to social support of MVD pensioners, children, and the Kursk regional police staff insured in OJSC ROSNO-МS", reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

For over four years, the Kursk branch of ROSNO-МS led by Mr. Igor Kolomiets has been actively helping and supporting MVD operatives and their families. This target audience is especially close to Mr. Igor Kolomiets, since he, as a practitioner, was assigned to the areas of military operations in the Republic of Chechnya, and headed medical department in the Nadterechny district.

The activities performed by the Kursk branch of ROSNO-МS in this respect include, but are not limited to, the support and assistance in hospitalization of MVD pensioners into the regional medical institutions, help in organization of profound medical examinations of MVD employees, help in accommodation of their family members in the federal-scale medical institutions, administrative and methodological support of the hospital of the Kursk Regional Police Department.

The awarding ceremony was held in the Medico-Sanitary Unit of the Kursk Regional Police Department in a solemn atmosphere.
