OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2007. During year 2007 Russian Agricultural Bank, acting in the framework of the National Priority Project on Agribusiness Development, has extended 158 thousand loans in the total amount of RUB 71,4 bln, reported the press-centre of Russian Agricultural Bank.

Over 150 thousand loans in the amount of RUB 21,2 bln have been granted to owners of personal household plots, RUB 5,8 bln - to farmers, RUB 3,2 bln - to consumer cooperatives; RUB 3,2 bln have been directed to mortgage loans, RUB 36,1 bln were advanced for the building and modernization of animal production units.

Overall during the whole period when the National Priority Project on Agribusiness Development has been in operation RAB extended 287 thousand loans in the amount of RUB 141,5 bln.
