OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2007. Metrowagonmash (MWM) sent the final batch of four intermediate cars designated 81-714.3 to the Warsaw metro (Poland). The plant has send 16 cars within the last four months, reported the press-centre of Transmashholding.

The shipments have been performed under a contract for manufacture and delivery of 16 metro cars concluded in October 2006.

The cars will be used to complement the Polish capital metro trains to six units each (instead of two head plus two intermediate version used now).

It is noteworthy that the plant and the Warsaw metro began cooperation in 1989 and around 40 MWM metro cars are now in service there.
