OREANDA-NEWS. On December 01, 2007 S7 Airlines began regular flights from Москва to Krasnodar on board comfortable Airbus A319. Earlier, only Soviet-era aircraft would fly there, reported the press-centre of S7.

The airline and Krasnodar airport worked hard together in order to get permit for landing А319. At present, the airport has all necessary equipment and is fully geared to service foreign airliners.

Airbus А319 aircraft are part of the modern narrow-hull range of Airbus А320. Launching aircraft of this family is a step in strategic program for upgrade and modernization of air park of S7 scheduled to run for 7 years. Average age of А319s flown by S7 Airlines is 3 to 5 years and they offer a spacious, comfortable two-class cabin design capable of taking up to 128 passengers.

Currently, the air park of S7 consists of 12 aircraft of this type, and another 5 liners have been agreed to arrive before this year-end.
