OREANDA-NEWS. December 4, 2007. OAO "RTM" (RTS: RTMC) commences the realization of its first project of complex territory development. The agreement on complex territory development in the Bryansk region was signed on October 25th 2007 between Bryansk authorities and "RTM" Group, the company's press service reported.

The concept of complex territory development which was worked out together with the architectural bureau Laguarda Low provides the construction works of modern shopping and entertainment center, residential properties and social infrastructure on a land plot of 20 ha.

The total area of future shopping and entertainment center will come to not less than 50 ths square meters without considering the parking of 1,100 parking lots.

The total area allowed for the construction of residential properties on the given territory amounts to about 250 ths square meters. However, from consumers' standpoint the optimum construction density on this plot should not exceed 180 ths square meters. "RTM" Group together with the Chief Architect of the region tend to follow this reasonable restriction. It’s supposed that not only standard houses but also business-class buildings will be constructed in the micro region.

In particular, besides additional growth of income from shopping and entertainment center and residential properties due to their proximity, we’ll enjoy significant decline of prime cost of a square meter and decline of price of integrated connection to utilities even while construction works. It all will let us propose competitive prices for residential properties and attractive rent rate for the future tenants of our shopping and entertainment center. Moreover that will be a great opportunity for citizens to live in ecologically clean area equipped with all the necessary infrastructure and located nearby large shopping and entertainment center where it’s possible to have shopping and to relax with all the family."

It’s planned to start construction works in 2008. The opening of shopping and entertainment center and commissioning of the first turn of residential properties are planned for 2010.
