Ukraine Raises Rate for Placement of Domestic Bonds of Loan
OREANDA-NEWS. December 01, 2007. The Ministry of Finance raised a placement rate of 7- and 10-year bonds from 5,4% to 6% per annum and from 5,1% to 5,7% per annum accordingly at regular prime auctions on placement of the domestic governmental loan's bonds, however, without success so far, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.
The Ministry failed to sell the bonds, including bonds to be retired June 23, 2010.
As a result, only 10,000 bonds with retirement of September 28, 2011 were placed upon a fixed rate of 6,4% per annum to the tune of UAH 11,205 million (1 USD – 5,05 UAH).
