OREANDA-NEWS. December 3, 2007. The 13th Azerbaijan International Exhibition in the field of telecommunications and information technologies Bakutel-2007 was opened at the Sport-Exhibition Complex named after H.Aliyev.


This year exhibition hosted 142 companies from 25 countries of the world.
30% of participants are local companies, 25% - companies form the CIS, 45% - representatives of foreign companies and companies from the distant foreign countries.
For the first time at the exhibition were presented national pavilions of Korea and Turkey.
At the opening ceremony took part Premier-Minister of Azerbaijan Republic - Arthur Rasizadeh, Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technologies - Ali Abbasov, and a number of Telecommunication Ministers from the Iran, Jordan, Moldova, Latvia, and Russia etc.
The exhibition is officially supported by the Ministry of Information Technologies and Telecommunication of Azerbaijan, International Electric Communication Alliance, Regional Communication Commonwealth, Global Alliance on information technologies development, UNO.
AZEL is the permanent participant of the Bakutel exhibition and every year presents the latest solutions in the field of information technologies.
At the exhibition 2007 AZEL presented joint projects with SAP and Microsoft and new line of Lazer desktops.
AZEL is the SAP Partner since 2003.
Joint projects with SAP were accomplished for oil and governmental sector – The State Treasury of Azerbaijan Republic (2004) and SOCAR (2007).
AZEL is the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
At the stand were presented licensed products of Microsoft – Windows Vista, Microsoft Office-2007.
Also, AZEL presented Microsoft Dynamics and some anti-virus and anti-spam software.
AZEL’s stand’s visitors could receive their photos made with digital photo camera and printed with the Epson photo printer.
